The new book on fhysical fitness training for volleyball by Alessandro Contadin is out

	The book, titled "Programmazione annuale della preparazione fisica nella pallavolo" (Annual Training Programs for Physical Fitness Training for Volleyball), is intended to be a simple but useful tool to provide greater clarity in a field that is constantly being updated and evolving.

Cus Roma Rugby conquers the "Tre Mari (Three Seas)" Trophy

	The UNDER 19 team of Cus Roma rugby, coached by Michele Fabiani and by the Estraplus physical trainers Marcello Cipriani and Pierluca Sylos Labini, beating Santa Maria Capua Vetere both in the home and away matches, is awarded the Three Seas Trophy, and with this guaranteeing passage into the Under 20 interregional championship in the 2009/10 season.

Finished (with a bit of regret) a more than positive season for the boys of Cisco

	The national students of cisco Rome, after having reached the final phase of the National Student championship, are eliminated in the round of 16 by AS Bari. There is some regret for how things went but the boys, guided by Coach Roberto Mattioli and by the Estraplus physical trainer Azzone Vito, fought through a great season, crowned by the objective of having reached the playoffs.

Excellent display by the boys of Axel at the 2nd National Open of Artistico in Roccarasso and at the Italian Cup in Courmayeur.

	A commendation to the boys of Axel and to the work performed by the Estraplus trainer Luigi Lucarini for the results: a first place in the Junior male category with Marco Lepori and 2 second places in the category female Novice B and in the Junior male, respectively, with Martina Pelegalli and Andrea Morrone (who garnered also a 3rd place in the Italy Cup in Courmayeur).

Tomis repeats... and more!

	Even this year Tomis Constanta conquered again the Romania Cup Championship but adds a very important bronze medal in the Challenge Cup (22/03/2009) Izmir, Turkey). For having reached their goal, which was established at the beginning of the season, a complement from the heart to the athletes, to Coach Stelio De Rocco and to "our" Luca Donati.

	His victory in France (in Monlouis Sur Loire, Toulouse 28th-29th of June) is only the latest in a series of successes that our ‘Raul’ has obtained over the last two years.
